United States Postal Service
The United States Postal Service (USPS) is an independent agency of the U.S. federal government, serving as the primary provider of postal services across the United States and handling global international mail exchanges.
USPS operates a massive network centered around major hubs like the Chicago ISC and JFK International Service Center. In the UK, it partners with Royal Mail, while in Canada, Canada Post handles the final mile delivery. Its global reach ensures seamless integration with UPU member nations for affordable trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic shipping. Key gateways like the London Gateway facilitate efficient mail exchange.

USPS has received the item into their network.
The item is moving between sorting facilities or hubs.
A local postal carrier has your item for final delivery.
The package has reached its final destination or mailbox.
You can track your international package using the 13-character tracking number ending in "US" on our portal. Once the package enters your country, the local national post (like Royal Mail or Australia Post) will also provide updates. Detailed tracking availability depends on whether you used Priority Mail Express or First-Class International services.
This status indicates your package is moving within the USPS network to the next sorting facility. It means the package is on schedule but has not yet been scanned at the destination post office. It is a general placeholder update provided when no specific scan has occurred for several hours during transit.
USPS is a member of the Universal Postal Union, so final delivery is handled by the national post of the destination country. In the United Kingdom, your parcel will be delivered by Royal Mail or Parcelforce. In Canada, Canada Post takes over the final mile delivery once it clears the customs process.
For international inquiries, you should contact the International Inquiry Center at +1 800-222-1811 during US business hours. Please note that for certain services like First-Class International, tracking may stop once the package leaves the US. You may also need to contact your local post office for customs-related holds.
International packages often pause at "International Service Centers" (ISC) for several days during export processing. This is normal as the package awaits customs clearance and an available flight. If there is no update for more than 7 business days, you should contact the sender to initiate a trace.
